The North American headquarters for Jenoptik Automotive, is a global leader in high-precision optical systems for the manufacturing industry. Located at 1500 W Hamlin Road in Rochester Hills, Michigan, this state-of-the-art facility combines office and industrial space across 100,000 square feet.
In close collaboration with renowned architecture firm HED, J.B. Donaldson provided comprehensive services throughout the project lifecycle. From pre-development and permitting to interior and exterior design and construction, our team ensured the delivery of a world-class facility tailored to Jenoptik’s unique requirements.
The new headquarters showcases a sleek, modern aesthetic that reflects Jenoptik’s innovative spirit—the exterior features clean lines and expansive glass facades, allowing natural light to flood the interior spaces. Inside, the open floor plan encourages collaboration and fosters a sense of community among employees.
Site Location
Every aspect of the facility is designed to optimize Jenoptik’s operations. The industrial wing features high-tech clean rooms and precision laboratories for the development and production of advanced optical systems. The office area includes flexible workspaces, conference rooms equipped with the latest AV technology, and breakout areas for informal meetings and brainstorming sessions.
